Fruit Smoothie
Want to get all of your serving of fruit in one
setting? Just have a fruit smoothie
:) Every day I make up a new one,
honestly I don’t think even one is the same :)
I use 1 cup water, almond milk, or juice, depends on what I want and need.
And the sky is the limit as to what you can put in them. I always throw in a hand full of spinach
though! Good way to get one serving of
veggie as well and you can’t taste the spinach at all. Today I did orange juice, banana, strawberries,
raspberries, blackberries, and spinach YUMMY!
Happy Hump Day!!
Sorry I haven’t blogged in a while :-/ My family and I did some traveling this weekend;
we went to Köln, Germany and Cochem, Germany.
First we went to the chocolate museum in Köln, what an awesome experience! We got to see and learn how chocolate is
made, of course we got free samples and purchased some yummy chocolate to take
home. Second we went to down town Köln. My boys were taken back by how beautiful and
huge the Kölner Dom cathedral is. The
cathedral is the largest Gothic church in Northern Europe and has the
second-tallest spires and largest façade of any church in the world. The choir
has the largest height to width ratio, 3.6:1, of any medieval church. After checking out the Dom and buying some souvenirs
we headed down the main street walk platz and of course a visit to the Lego
store was a MUST! Nate and Lil J got to
make their own Lego guys and Jax got a Duplo lighting McQueen set. By this time we were famished we found a nice
little German restaurant just off the main street. It was the first German restaurant I have
even been to take served breakfast items, yes we all ate breakfast for dinner :) Are bellies were full and we were exhausted
so we headed home.
On Sunday we went to Cochem a beautiful little village on
the Mosel River. We hiked up to the castle
what an amazing hike such unique buildings and vineyards. We took a guided tour of the castle I must
say it is one of the most beautiful castles I have been in yet. Here is a link to the castle history if you
are interested. http://www.reichsburg-cochem.de/english/history.htm The castle has a mascot and if you touch her
belly and make a wish your wish will come true.
Yep we all touched her belly and made wishes! After that we walked the village and checked
out some of the shops, most were closed it was Sunday. It was a short day and visit because of it
being a school night but we had an amazing time!
I started spin class yesterday, WOW, that is a GREAT workout
and I will keep going to the class until we leave for Kansas. I am hoping our new base’s gym offers a spin
class, as I would like to continue to doing the class. It is important to always change up what you
are doing to keep your body and metabolism guessing. This afternoon I will weight train and we are
having vegetarian stir fry for dinner. I
will post the recipe after we try it.
I still need to post why we decided to change our lifestyle,
I am working on it :) Happy Hump Day
Everyone!!

Happy Thursday Everyone!
I have added a few recipes, links to recipes, and links I find very
helpful! Tonight we are have Sasha'a
Beans, a recipe my friend gave me, super YUMMY, with brown rice, and a side salad. I will post it in a few! Today is a cardio day for me, but I have a
very fussy almost 2 yr old keeping me up all night and I have been waiting for
the doc to call me! Unfortunately crap
happens when you have a family especially one of my size and going to the gym
just isn’t an option. I used to beat myself
up but I am over making myself feel bad.
I have one down day a week and that is usually Sunday, but when things
like this arise I just switch my down day simple as that! However I still did 150 crunches, 200 jumping
jacks, 90 seconds sitting on an imaginary chair, 90 squats, 120 leg lifts, 34 push-ups (30 were on my knees), and 1.45
second plank. All of that may seem like
a lot especially if you are just starting out, so divide all this up by three
and do them Morning, Afternoon, and Night :)

:) I hope you all find the info I
provided inspirational and helpful. Next
